Different Places have different ways of doing things. In Blackhawk Colorado they were playing pinball outdoors.  Nine cabins had a small porch with two pinball machines.  The machines are calibrated so that that teams could play golf style pinball.  You would have five pinball to try and see if you could get a predetermined amount of points.  The amount of balls it took to get to those points would be your golf score in 18 pinball machine golf style holes.
